Job Title: Logistics Analyst Location: Burton Factory Work-Level: WL1 JOB PURPOSE The Logistics Analyst role is going to be responsible for controlling and maintaining SAP stock management across the Factory (Jewel and Marmite areas) ensuring we have correct stock at all the times. The role will become a Logistics expert and will be supporting the Logistics department into the deployment of what required on each moment, including area documentation and standardization. The role is days based, will report into the Logistics Front Line Manager and will cover full site. RESPONSIBILITIES Key player on overall stock check management across the Factory Monitor WIP batch declarations in the system to ensure action in a timely manner Manage stock levels within PSA (production areas) Hold status stock management Monitor stock consumptions and errors, support in clearance where required. Investigate and correct to improve systems integrity Assist in month end financial closures and key player in annual stock count event Use detailed waste reporting to progress investigation and cost reduction Provide SAP training to operators and support where required Investigate and resolve Cannock cases, return to stores items in investigation area Create technical standards to ensure process continuity on Logistics area – including SOPs, OPLs, CILs, Centerlining, Risk Assessments, etc; Participate in Root Cause Analysis and Major Problem Solving of the area when required Create a positive attitude and questioning culture within the organisation to facilitate acceptance of change and zero loss mindset Technical expertise, being able to showcase best practice on the area and analyse performance losses, leading improvement projects for the area Maintain and develop own technical knowledge and capability General support to Logistics team, including coverage when and where required ALL ABOUT YOU Key Skills and Competencies Experienced in SAP processes and stock control Numerical skills and competency in IT are essential, including the use of Excel spreadsheets Excellent communication skills and an ability to form effective working relationships and knowledge sharing between areas Demonstrates a commitment to the tools and techniques of UMS to continually improve and eliminate losses Positive attitude and demonstrated behaviours towards continuous improvement Key Experiences Strong knowledge of systems including SAP S1P, Strata, Build App Experience in creating manufacturing standards – SOPs, CILs, Centerlining, Risk Assessments. High level computer competency and use of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
