Job Description Position: Manufacturing Engineer x 1 Business Overview: Compressor Components Area recruiting: Manufacturing Engineering CI Team (Services PART 145). Shift Working: Days, Shifts may be available based on demand. Job Specification: Manufacturing Engineer CI team. Accountabilities: Key accountabilities, whilst not exhaustive, will include: To attain all the required part 145 training requirements. Interpret repair schemes and Engine Manuals. The use of SAP/ SFDC2, T.I and RR Care. Support the Cell, dealing with any Non-conformance and manufacturing issues. Raise and apply Technical Variances as required. Update repair methods with improvements or updates via the change control process. To drive Rate Readiness and RFT activities. Preferred Skills: Previous part 145 experience is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided. To be familiar with the manufacturing methods and processes for WCFB manufacture. Disciplines Required: Due to the nature of the manufacturing process, applicants must be able to: Interpret Repair Schemes and Engine Manuals. Understand the requirements and boundaries of the Part 145 regulatory requirements. Work as part of a team. Competent method planner. This role may require training to be carried out elsewhere in the UK, please take this into consideration when applying for the role.
