We are going through a very exciting phase of transformation in Margin and Collateral, OTC derivatives, Payments and Cash Management domains in Markets Technology uplifting our technology offering for our business as we aim to be the most competitive product offering on the street. In this role you will be required to participate in the complete spectrum of SDLC, closely working with business users, engineers, QA and support teams to create a technology product vision and roadmap and ensure its delivery on time and to budget.

As part of our global technology team, you will be working with a group of passionate product owners and engineers who work on building simple and effective solutions to solve complex business problems.

This role is for someone who is a strong analyst with good organizational skills and enjoys solving complex business and process challenges; has experience in building robust and high-quality solutions, has excellent communication skills and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Job Description:

The IT Business Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with prospective and operational and business users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into technology product requirements.Align with the vision for the teams product and maintaining the cohesive vision throughout the SDLC process. Create a product roadmap based on this vision.Managing the product backlog and prioritizing the tasks based on challenging and often competing requirements.Active participation in stages of the technology product creation; during development and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projectsMonitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process; Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environmentConsult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectivesEvaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems and industry standardsProvide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisionsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Working with the wider product team and end users to deliver updates and status reports and active participation in all scrum activities and product sprints.

Qualifications:

Eperience inproduct companies as product owner/manager.Experience delivering strategic change programs spanning multiple years in a fast paced,financialproduct company.Adept in agile practices and strong ability to develop, manage and continuously prioritise backlog.Product knowledge of Margin & collateral, OTC Derivatives or payments flows or related domain is a plus.Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a leader who can positively and productively add product impact to both strategic and tactical technologyStrong, influential communicator who is articulate andconcise,demonstrated success interacting with senior management both in the business, corporate functions as well as the Operations and Technology environmentsStrong risk management and control mindsetProvides evaluative judgment based on analysis offactual informationin complicated, unique and dynamic situations; draws on diverse range of internal and external sourcesSelf-reliant, good problem solver, results orientedAbility toestablishand build trust with professionals throughout the businessasadvisor, and business partner to the organization with a clear client orientation.Strong awareness of both external and internal best practice perspectives, maintaining a balanced and fresh viewpoint.Ability to conceptualize aspects of the organizations model and its future development.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysisExperience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle and agile practices for software development and delivery.Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis.

Education:

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
