Markets Operations Belfast Overview:

Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

A role within Markets Operations means that you will have a global reach, in a supportive environment which will provide you with new experiences and development opportunities right here in Belfasts iconic Titanic Quarter.

You can play an important part in transforming and simplifying our operating model.

Role Overview:

The Operations Analyst is responsible breaking down information in a systematic and communicable manner in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.

What you'll do:

Validate corporate action events and ensure accurate information is provided for notifications and downstream processing to clients

Support a range of products, services and projects

Prepare regulatory reports and resolve problems that require investigation

Use data analysis methodologies to identify gaps in policy as well as process improvements and support with implementation.

Develops a good understanding of products and processes, and industry practices and standards

Helping to maintain a culture and environment where processes, risks and controls are continually monitored, and potential risks escalated on a timely basis

What well need from you:

Experience using MS packages

Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise

Strong risk management and control mindset

Self-reliant, good problem solver, results orientated.

Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

Ability to establish and build trust with professionals throughout the business.

Successful candidates will attend a two week Market Operations Training Academy if required.

This aims to help you understand how Markets Operations work and where your role fits in in Citi while also providing you with all the tools needed to be the best you can be in your new role.
