Markets Operations Belfast Overview:

Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

A role within Markets Operations means that you will have a global reach, in a supportive environment which will provide you with new experiences and development opportunities right here in Belfasts iconic Titanic Quarter.

You can play an important part in transforming and simplifying our operating model.

What you'll do:

The role will have extensive client interaction with an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of products, internal systems, processes, and support teams.

Managing, reconciling and processing positions related to position events.

Be responsible for routine operational tasks.

Apply analytical thinking and knowledge to interpret data and contribute to process improvement.

Utilise good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders, and to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.

Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.

Working within a fast paced, operational environment means that your skills and activity really counts towards your teams ability to achieve their objectives

What well need from you:

GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Good Microsoft skills including Excel, Word and Outlook

Good numeric skills

Demonstrates sound judgement and professionalism in decision making/problem solving, escalating to supervisor as appropriate

Successful candidates will attend a three week Market Operations Training Academy if required.

This aims to help you understand how Markets Operations work and where your role fits in in Citi while also providing you with all the tools needed to be the best you can be in your new role.
