Materials Admin Intern

Job Summary:

The Materials Admin Intern will be responsible for managing various tasks within the materials team, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of invoices, spreadsheets, and reports. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
Parked Invoices & Exception Invoices: Review and manage parked and exception invoices. Resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing. Freight Spreadsheet: Maintain and update the Sterling spreadsheet with accurate data. Ensure all entries are up-to-date and reflect status. SOA’s from Vendors: Review Statements of Account (SOA) from vendors. Reconcile vendor accounts and address any discrepancies. PO’s for Stores Spreadsheet: Manage and update the Purchase Orders (PO) for stores spreadsheet. Ensure all POs are accurately recorded and tracked. Shortage Reports & Gemba Board Updates: Prepare and distribute shortage reports. Update the Gemba board with status and progress.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in materials management or a related field. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with inventory management systems. Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
