Mechanical Services Engineer

Would you like to play a key part in the development and delivery of building investment programmes within a busy department which manages the physical environment in which staff and students work, live and learn?

In this vital role you will work as part of a small team of building service engineers and have responsibility for managing an array of mechanical installations and designing new and replacement services, many requiring innovative and energy saving solutions. 

In order to succeed in this role, you will have:

The ability to provide technical advice and assistance Up to date knowledge of relevant technical and legislative developments and ability to ensure compliance  The ability to manage mechanical maintenance contracts and projects including managing the work of contractors will also be necessary Experience of surveying buildings of varying age and construction
