The Role: Precision in Action
As a Mechanical Technician, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the timely production of vital Hawk Hydraulic and Mechanical Components. This role is integral to supporting daily flight operations within a stringent Part 145 regulated environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing authorised maintenance tasks under supervision, adhering to competency assessments and authorising authority guidelines.
- Taking first signature responsibilities for maintenance and rectification activities conducted within the bay.
- Executing maintenance procedures with meticulous attention to approved technical data, promptly reporting and resolving any process or documentation discrepancies.
- Safely operating compressed gas systems and pressurised hydraulic fluids, strictly following all established safety protocols.
- Utilising specialised bay equipment, including hydraulic test benches, following comprehensive operator training.
This is a full-time, permanent position, operating on a 37.5-hour week, based on-site at Valley, Anglesey.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:
Candidates will need:
- Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulic systems and their associated components, including their functionality and integration within mechanical assemblies.
- A solid understanding of hydraulic power principles, with an emphasis on flow dynamics, pressure regulation, and system performance.
- Substantial industry experience OR completion of relevant On-the-Job Training (OJT) or vocational qualifications equivalent to City & Guilds Level 3 (C&G 2675).
- A Full Driving Licence.
