Job Description Job Title: Mechanical/Electrical Fitter Working Pattern: Full-Time, Onsite Working Location: Winsford Are you a skilled and hands-on fitter with a passion for precision and service? In this critical role supporting our Defence customers, you’ll help deliver and maintain essential power generation and electrical distribution systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success of high-performance equipment supporting military operations. This role sits within our Distributed Generation Systems (DGS) team, delivering power generation and electrical systems for the UK armed forces. As a Mechanical/Electrical Fitter, you’ll play a key part in delivering essential maintenance and repair services across our diesel-powered generation systems. What You Will Be Doing With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to: Disassemble, inspect, clean, test and reassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies to strict standards Work with diesel power generation and electrical distribution systems in support of military contracts Collaborate with team leads to ensure quality, delivery, and cost expectations are met Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and shop floor efficiency Who We’re Looking For At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
