Offensive Security Developer – Red Team Salary: National Circa £95000 and London Circa £110000 We’re looking for an Offensive Security Developer to join our Attack Simulation team in Aviva Cyber Security function. You’ll be part of a team that mimics real-world threats to test and strengthen our defences. A bit about the job: You’ll be on the front lines of cyber defence—designing and executing red team engagements, developing custom tools, and simulating real-world threats to test and strengthen our security posture. Working alongside a highly skilled team, you’ll help identify vulnerabilities across people, processes, and technology, and play a key role in protecting millions of customers. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, C/C++, PowerShell, .NET or Rust Deep understanding of Windows/Linux internals and network protocols Proven experience in cloud security testing and Command and Control frameworks Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and advanced attack techniques Several years of experience in offensive security or red teaming Preferred qualifications and experience: Experience with software development and CI/CD pipelines Certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, OSEP, or similar Background in threat emulation or purple teaming Exposure to regulated or government environments What you’ll get for this role: At Aviva, we invest in you.
