We're seeking a Operations Manager to play an integral role within<strong> </strong>our<strong> contract,</strong> delivering a first-class service and achieving fantastic results.<br><br></p> <p><strong>WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Managing day to day operational activities to fulfil customer requirements OTIF to specification</li> <li>Adherence to compliance both internal and external regulatory bodies</li> <li>Maintain and promote H&S culture across the site</li> <li>Control and monitor IT tools such as RP,BY, APOS</li> <li>Monitor agreed resource level across site in line with budgets, and productivity targets</li> <li>Manage and enhance performance management</li> <li>Engage with Union to facilitate collaboration between management and colleagues throughout the operation to deliver the goals</li> <li>Planning corrective action meetings and preparing response to audits</li> <li>Support CSR initiatives across site</li> <li>Ensure effective communication processes are established for both internal and external customers</li> <li>Review, develop and maintain/improve operational processes in line with DfT guidelines</li> <li>Record and proactively manage KPI's to drive continuous improvement in the service level and cost performance to AWC</li> <li>Work closely with H&S and Food technical team to ensure all standards of food safety are followed</li> <li>Liaise with Food Technical team on safety audits and support implementation plans</li> <li>Work towards minimising impact on train delays due to operational process error</li> <li>Maintain and deliver PI initiatives to help site achieve commercial goals</li> <li>Responsible for delivery of financial and non-financial KPIs and Gainshare targets for the site</li> <li>Budget management</li> <li>Carry out HR functions as required</li> <li>Lead and support employee engagement initiatives</li> <li>Train and Develop operations team from management to colleague</li> <li>Responsble for sickness/absence management.
