We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with a strong background in database development to join our cross-functional application development team. The ideal candidate should have significant hands-on experience in designing, developing, tuning and maintaining PL/SQL that underpins important analytical applications. Work as part of a cross-functional team to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications through to design, development, testing, and deployment. Provide support and troubleshooting for production database systems, including diagnosing and resolving database-related issues. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, data models, and process flow diagrams. Perform performance tuning and optimizations to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. Collaborate with database administrators to ensure the integrity, security, and performance of the database systems. Your skills and experience Significant professional experience in Oracle development, including strong proficiency in PL/SQL preferably to Exadata 19c In-depth knowledge of database concepts, data modelling, and SQL optimization techniques. Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. Ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex database issues and performance bottlenecks. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision when required.
