Role Specification and Work Environment:
We are seeking a PLM Technical Consultant to perform deployment, upgrade, and configuration tasks. This role is client-facing and involves collaboration with other system integrators.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively within the extended project team and work independently when required.
Location: The role is based in Bristol within a secure location, contributing to a UK defense project. Beyond this project, there will be further opportunities within the UKI PLM Team to deliver projects in both secure and cloud environments for leading global companies.
Must Criteria:
A UK National and eligible to work in the UK Eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government Security Check (DV) clearance.
Responsibilities:
Be an integral member of a project delivery team, working with the Project Manager and PLM Architect to deploy solutions. Implement solutions in line with customer requirements, involving installation, configuration, and testing. Produce and maintain relevant project documentation, including build and design specifications. Willingness and ability to travel if necessary (within the UK and continental Europe).
Requirements:
Proven experience in deploying, upgrading, and configuring solutions in a consulting environment. Installation experience with multi-tier, high-availability, clustering, and security using Teamcenter Environment Manager (TEM). Ability to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and resolve technical issues related to installation, upgrade, or configuration. Administration experience with relevant applications, including Organization, Preference Management, Workflow, Access Manager, Query Builder, and PLMXML. Configuration experience with utilities. Previous experience with IPS data upload is advantageous. Some experience in scripting languages such as PERL, PowerShell, and Linux Shell scripts. Fundamental user-level Linux skills. STEM-based degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math’s).
