PMO Analyst

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Portfolio Analyst to join our PMO team, based in Worcester. As a key part of the Technology delivery team, the PMO works closely with all teams across technology This job sits within the Technology Change team which is responsible for delivering Technology capability within Sanctuary Group to ensure employees have access to the systems they need to perform their duties.
The role of Portfolio Analyst is to assist with the effective and efficient delivery of Portfolio services, including, Demand Management, Planning, Reporting, Financial Management & Resourcing. If you are analytical and enjoy problem solving with attention to detail this may be the role for you.
The role of Portfolio Analyst will include:
Providing programmes, projects and RUN activities with high quality assurance and support Supporting the development and maintenance of appropriate tools and best practice processes to aid the effective delivery and coordination of the Portfolio Providing high quality management information and analysis to all stakeholders on the Technology Portfolio, as well as specific programmes or project progress Working with a variety of stakeholders within Technology and the wider Sanctuary Group Supporting planning and resource management across the department to ensure the completion of strategic objectives
Skills and experiences:
Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification Recent experience of undertaking a similar role Proven experience of delivering services for a Portfolio, including medium to large scale projects/programmes Working knowledge of producing progress reports and management information Good organisational, project management and planning skills Intermediate user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Working knowledge of Visio, Project and Teams
