You will need to drive transformation change in order to achieve our strategic objectives and deliver an agile, customer focussed procurement team that become “famous for great products”. In addition, you will need to deploy a common category management methodology across our procurement contracts. We need you to enhance & deliver category strategies which maximise customer value for money alongside a continuous improvement culture. You will also be passionate about delivering fantastic products and service from a diverse supplier base.</p> <p><strong>WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop, own and deploy the Procurement Strategy across managed procurement; keeping up to date with market trends and innovation</li> <li>Develop a commercially astute and customer-focused procurement team with a can-do mindset.</li> <li>Overall ownership for contract negotiation with suppliers, ensuring we have a innovative and high performing supplier base.
