Production Technician

As a Production Technician you will be part of a high-performance team both delivering and supporting other functions to meet challenging department, team and personal goals. The role will be to support a team, optimise resources and coordinate activities to ensure departmental targets are met which in turn contributes to ensuring site goals are achieved.

Key responsibilities include;
Running a filling line, producing hundreds of thousands of bottles per shift. Work to high standards to achieve departmental targets in Quality, Efficiency, Waste and cost reduction while actively contributing and seeking continuous improvements to achieve departmental targets Resolve minor breakdowns and carry out basic maintenance Monitor equipment performance and correct / raise issues before they become problems Ensure departmental procedures are followed and records are maintained as well as ensuring quality, hygiene, health and safety standards are met and regular audits are conducted Effectively run the Filling lines by using production systems such as LMS / SAP, and operating equipment such as Labeller and Fillers to produce a high quality product Carrying out 5s checks within your area, complete machine asset care and cleaning requirements.
What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role
Excellent verbal, numerical and written communication skills. Ideally be educated in Food Technology or a related discipline Computer literate Strong organisational skills Experience of working within a factory environment. Being a team player. Working competently under pressure.
