<p style='margin-bottom:13px;'><strong>Programme Manager</strong></p> <p style='margin-bottom:13px;'><strong>G4S Care and Rehabilitation Services</strong></p> <p><strong>HMP Parc, Bridgend, CF35 6AP</strong></p> <p><strong>Salary £38,244.15 per annum</strong></p> <p><strong>Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week)</strong></p> <p><strong>Benefits: Company Pension, free on-site parking, on-site canteen, ongoing training and development and access to High Street Shop discounts.</strong></p> <p></p> <p>Within Care and Rehabilitation Services, the philosophy of our prisons is to rehabilitate offenders and equip them to re-integrate into mainstream society on release. We seek to normalise prison conditions as far as possible to reflect life in the outside community. Our aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe and causes of prison stress are minimised. Central to our philosophy is the relationship between staff and prisoners. Our training and operational practices emphasise the need to treat prisoners with dignity and respect and G4S staff build positive and supportive relationships with the prisoners in their care. HMP & YOI Parc accommodates 1038 convicted male adult prisoners and remand/ convicted young offenders and young people in a secure but modern environment.</p> <p></p> <p>We now have an opportunity for a Programme Manager to join our team at HMP Parc tosupport the effective delivery and provision of interventions across HMP Parc. With over 250 prisoners accessing structured accredited interventions each year, this role will be critical in ensuring the right systems and processes are in place to target the right prisoner population, maximise engagement and ensure quality delivery by a skilled group of interventions facilitators.</p> <p></p> <p>Some of the key responsibilities are;</p> <ul> <li style='text-indent:0cm;'>Ensure systems and processes relating to the identification and selection of prisoners for structured intervention work are in place and working effectively</li> <li>Provide line management oversight and support to the rehabilitation admin team</li> <li>Ensure staff are able to access necessary and relevant training to undertake their roles</li> <li>Ensure systems and processes are in place to collate and hold necessary data and information for accredited interventions</li> <li>Undertake regular compliance checks to ensure compliance with IIF audit requirements and any other required inspections, audits or investigations</li> <li>Work with Interventions Treatment Managers to develop delivery schedules that ensure an effective and well-balanced quarterly and annual delivery plan that supports staff and maximises efficiency of delivery</li> <li>Ensure the wider interventions team have the tools that they need to effectively deliver the interventions that we provide, including space, equipment and adequate training</li> <li>Regularly review systems and processes to identify more efficient ways of working utilising the google suite of applications</li> <li>Liaise across the prison to raise awareness of the work that the team do, overcome any barriers or difficulties that prevent prisoners from accessing interventions, and enable the interventions team to effectively discharge their duties</li> <li>Promote the opportunities for change that the department provide to both prisoners and staff through a variety of modalities</li> </ul><p style='margin-bottom:13px;'>The successful candidate must have line management experience together with a strong grasp of G-Suite and associated benefits, managing systems and processes including databases.</p> <p style='margin-bottom:13px;'></p> <p style='margin-bottom:13px;'>The following would be desirable but arent essential;</p> <ul> <li style='text-indent:0cm;'>Experience and knowledge in accredited programmes</li> <li>Qualification relating IT</li> <li>Experience of working in a criminal justice setting</li> </ul> <p style='margin-bottom:13px;'></p> <p style='margin-bottom:13px;'>If you join us, you can be sure that youll find a secure, friendly and professional working environment and be given all the support, training and encouragement you need to build and develop a successful career with us.</p> <p style='margin-bottom:13px;'></p> <p>HMP Parc encourages applications from Welsh speakers.</p> <p></p> <p>For more information on HMP Parc, please visit<a href='https://hmpparc.co.uk/'>https://hmpparc.co.uk/</a></p> <p></p> <p>Equality and Diversity is an important part of G4S Care and Rehabilitation Services.
