At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Project Assistant, at our Bristol or Newbury sites.

The Role As a Project Assistant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Operating at the entry level for the project manager structure, supporting the Process, Plant and Equipment (PP&E) project.

Day-to-day, you’ll be supporting the development and monitoring of project schedules, as well as implementing the stakeholder and communications management plan:

Communication and reporting of risk management activities on the project. Configuration management and change control activities on the project. Communication with internal and external resources to manage their delivery. Development of requirements, project scope and solutions for specific outputs and work packages. Monitor and control of schedules.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Bristol or Newbury, on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.

Essential Experience of the Project Assistant:

Awareness of the full project lifecycle experience. Strong stakeholder management / communication skills. Ideally, have experience in a similar sector but, this is not essential.

Qualifications for the Project Assistant:

APM Introductory Certificate (Project Fundamentals Qualification, PFQ) is highly desirable but, not required.
