Working within the Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) department, at ZEISS, we are looking for a Project Buyer to become a key player in our global Supply Chain Management Organisation. You will: Take ownership of the supply chain for a cutting-edge electron microscope product line. Work closely with expert teams in the UK and Germany, and with global suppliers. Drive supply chain strategies for new product launches and engineering changes. Negotiate contracts that deliver value whilst fostering strong partnerships. Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Operations to bring revolutionary products to life. This is not just a job – it an opportunity to shape the future of technology. Your responsibilities will include: Acting as the Supply Chain Representative for new product introductions and redesign projects. Develop and execute innovative supply chain strategies aligned with Zeiss vision. Manage procurement processes with precision, from RFQs to purchase orders. Oversee engineering change management to ensure flawless execution. Address challenges head-on and implement creative solutions. Serve as the vital link between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring seamless communication. What make you a perfect fit? You are a passionate forward-thinking professional with: Solid experience in Supply Chain Management, New Product Introduction, Procurement or Project Management. Advanced SAP skills and expertise in Microsoft Office tools. Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication .and negotiation prowess.
