On completion you will receive BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management

Working Week: 36 hours total. The Project Management apprentices could be working any shift (earlies, lates, nights, days) as we operate 24/7. In regards to locations you may be involved in projects across the UK, so flexibility and the ability to travel, including potential overnight stays, late shifts, night shifts, and weekend work, are essential.

You'll learn from different business units and industry experts, gaining valuable insights and skills that will set you up for success. About the apprenticeship On our programme, you'll learn the essentials of outstanding project management while working towards your Associate Project Management L6 Apprenticeship Standard. You'll team up with experienced colleagues, explore different business areas, identify opportunities for improvements, and effectively plan and execute projects of all sizes. This programme is the perfect mix of mentoring, training, and hands-on experience, giving you the skills and knowledge to shape your dream career.

Your working week will be a blend of learning and doing. You’ll spend one day on off-the-job learning, through virtual lectures, workshops, seminars, and completing assignments. The rest of your week will be spent on-the-job, supporting and making an impact on real, diverse projects.

Role Responsibilities: As a Royal Mail Project Management Apprentice, you'll gain a detailed understanding of our business operations and functions. Importantly, you'll learn how we enhance the customer experience across various departments.

You’ll also:

• Help create project plans, defining what needs to be done, setting goals, timelines, and figuring out what resources are needed. • Support project managers in organising activities, coordinating team members, and tracking progress. • Participate in risk assessments, identify potential problems and help put in place solutions. • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, status reports, and project data. • Work with project teams to ensure final products and processes meet quality standards.

Minimum eligibility criteria: • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or higher (including Maths and English)

• 3 A-Levels (or equivalent) grade B or above in any subject

You don't need to be an expert to join us, but you need to be passionate about understanding how businesses work and becoming an exceptional project manager. We're seeking self-driven individuals with strong numerical skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent organisational abilities.
