Join us as a Proposition Manager within our Partnerships team working within our Barclaycard Payments business.

Working closely with the Partnership leadership team in all propositional development activity to drive the growth and success of the portfolio. Proactively identify and develop appropriate partnership propositions to meet and exceed client expectations and maximise overall satisfaction and advocacy. Supporting the implementation of Partner relationships through effective execution management and use of a strong internal network. Assisting with business development activities.

Proposition Development including the crafting of core values with competitive analysis & market positioningCustomer & Market Research including analysing market trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain pointsGo-to-Market Strategy: Collaborating with marketing, sales, and product teams for effective launchesBusiness Case & Feasibility AnalysisPerformance Monitoring & Optimization: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) including adoption, revenue, and retentionStrong awareness and knowledge of the Payments marketAbility to proactively take personal initiative in terms of planning, organising and balancing workflow commitmentsPrevious experience of dealing with partners/customers

High level of interpersonal skills demonstrated by excellent oral and written communicationTeam focused individual, with the confidence to successfully interact with some of the Banks most sophisticated and complex clientsMust be comfortable building effective working relationships working with internal partners across the Barclays Group in order to best serve our clientsAbility to work highly effectively to tight deadlinesDeep knowledge of the Acceptance Payments sectorStrategic thinking – ability to assess and consider new business development opportunities

This role is London or Northampton based

Purpose of the role

To develop and manage the success of specific financial products and services, providing in-depth expertise on a particular product line, bridging the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer service.

Accountabilities

Provision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance.Identification of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve product offerings.Response to customer inquiries, resolution of issues, and provision of guidance on product usage. .Presentation of the advantages and features of the product to potential customers, building trust and encouraging adoption.Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product, such as brochures, presentations, and online content.Participation in training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders.Participation in events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest.
