Job Description Quality Manager - Business Development & Capability Lead the Quality and regulatory support of the new capabilities (from component repair to new overhaul bases) Aftermarket Operations requires, participating in the IPTs, providing insight to Rolls-Royce project managers regarding the steps that need to be taken to ensure these capabilities are compliant with Rolls-Royce (SABRe), NADCAP / SPG, AS9110 and all appropriate regulatory requirements. Ensure all supplier approval (new and extension) tasks are completed in a timely fashion and to a high standard. Track the KPIs for New Approval Requests and Approval Plans to ensure none of these lapse for the projects being run in Aftermarket Operations and support the production and implementation of Deviation Plans where needed. Ensure the supplier approval process is followed in Business Development & Capability and that, where improvements to that process can be proposed and implemented. Be able to advise suppliers and potential suppliers on the requirements of SABRe in support of their operation and the route to achieving SABRe approval. Prepare for and provide support to the transition of Quality oversight of new suppliers to the Supplier Quality team at PMO Gate 3. Provide guidance on the risks associated with new capability to our suppliers so they begin their relationship with Rolls-Royce understanding our expectations of them in this activity.
