At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Site Quality Manager at Hinkley Point A.

The role As a Site Quality Manager at HPA, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Day-to-day, you’ll provide management of site quality arrangements across all aspects of site activities (e.g. Mobilisation, Construction, Installation, Commissioning, Operations) in support of the overall project lifecycle, including the direct responsibility for site quality team

Proactively supporting and advising on all aspects of quality management on site, including risks and issues Promoting a strong site quality culture. Ensuring relevant customer quality requirements are identified and incorporated into the site quality arrangements. Developing, implementing and maintaining the site quality documents, including as required, the writing of site specific quality procedures / local working instructions. Ensuring quality arrangements and required documents for site suppliers are reviewed and approved / accepted in accordance with site / project requirements, including Customer approvals. Developing and implementing the site lifetime records strategy and subsequently monitoring to ensure records are concurrently maintained in line with site activities and quality documents are created and maintained.

This role is full time role, 37 hours per week and will be based on site at Hinkley Point A, Monday- Thursday.

Essential experience of the Site Quality Manager

Good working knowledge of the Nuclear and construction industry Good working knowledge of all relevant regulations and legislation e.g. CDM, ONR Site Licence conditions. Good working knowledge and application of ISO 9001 Previous experience of working on a Nuclear Licence Site, or in another highly regulated industry.

Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
