Location: Tadcaster Salary: £40,000- £45,000 dependent on experience.

Contract: Permanent

We’re currently seeking a Quality Specialist to join our team in the Tadcaster Site! If this appeals to yourself, have a read through below for more details. What are we looking for? Reporting to the Head of Brewing, you will be a key member of the team, bringing a Continuous Improvement mindset to all aspects of beer production. As Quality Specialist, your role sits within the brewing function, with close collaboration across packaging and quality to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality beer and to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activity from a brewing perspective.

Key responsibilities include:

Proactively monitoring brewing and finished beer quality, identifying key trends in performance, and supporting data-led decisions to improve consistency. Driving improvements to the site’s Quality Management System, ensuring it supports robust brewing and quality processes. Leading brewing input into New Product Introduction (NPI), coordinating trial brews, scaling up recipes, and managing transitions from development to full production. Supporting Heineken’s TPM journey toward Bronze accreditation and beyond by applying key TPM tools to drive brewing excellence. Playing an active role in capital expenditure projects within the brewhouse and cellar areas—from planning and commissioning through to operational handover. Auditing brewing practices and ensuring adherence to GMP standards, while also challenging the status quo to raise the quality bar. Identifying opportunities to integrate in-line process instrumentation, reducing reliance on lab-based QC and enhancing real-time quality assurance. Key Member of PQ pillar. Coaching and supporting brewing team members in all aspects of process control, product quality, and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for?

If you have quality expertise within a beer/beverage manufacturing environment then this may be the role you are looking for. You will have a relevant Science degree, Institute & Guild of Brewing Diploma or equivalent – or relevant experience, experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment is highly desired.
