Job Description Quality Manager – data, reporting, and analytics. An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the data, reporting and analytics team within the Quality function. Within the scope of Quality, you will be responsible for data quality, data reporting and securing insight through data science to protect and enable the business to achieve its goals. You will work closely with the Quality teams, data specialists, data scientists and machine learning engineers within Rolls-Royce and in suppliers. What you will be doing: Define and deploy the data, reporting, systems, and data science strategy for the Quality function. With respect to the data owned by the Quality function: Assure the quality of the data. Set and deploy the associated standards and data governance. Ensure security of the data. Deliver system and data integration. Deliver standard data reporting capability to ensure effective governance of Quality within the business; to set and deploy Quality KPIs, reporting standards, targets, and analytics. Through advance analytics, deliver valuable insight from the data owned by the Quality function (integrated with other data sets as necessary) to protect and enable the business to achieve its goals. Business owner for the Quality module in SAP (and other platforms / solutions owned by Quality), including technical support, training, managing role profiles / permissions, system changes, and data structure. Support and enable improvements in the Quality operating system to deliver simplification and efficiency. Facilitate a Quality data, reporting and analytics community of practice to drive collaboration and enable the business to deliver its goals. What we are looking for: Demonstrated strong analytical and statistics skills. Familiarity with data governance, data quality management and data integration. Familiarity with advanced analytics – AI / Machine Learning. Ability to think strategically and to solve complex problems. Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal relationships skills. Knowledge of the RRMS, the Civil Aerospace value stream, Civil Aerospace product and Business Improvement is preferred.
