An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Fellow within the Academic Unit, Mental Health and Clinical Neurosciences to join the NIHR DeNPRU-UN (Dementia and Neurodegeneration Policy Research Unit), based at University of Nottingham. DeNPRU-UN is funded to generate the evidence policymakers need to develop and deliver effective and equitable health and social care in England that will make it the best place in the world for those with dementia or a neurodegenerative disease to receive care and support, wherever they live and whatever their background. You will work in the team based at University of Nottingham, and with the core team at Queen Mary University as well as national partners.The post holder will be enthusiastically committed to conducting research that makes an impact and a team player. You will work with academics in dementia and neurodegenetative conditions, which may include MS or Parkinson’s Disease to design and carry out portfolio studies and support rapid responses to requests for evidence. You will work across a range of projects utilising quantitative and qualitative methods. Depending on the skills of the appointee this may include health economics.  You will have experience in studies using mixed methods. We will provide you with strong and enthusiastic support to develop your career.  

The post will be offered as a full-time (36.25 hours per week), fixed-term position, available until 31st December 2026.
