Research Associate/Fellow (Fixed term) (SCI reference: SCI331524

We are seeking to appoint a motivated scientist with wide experience of solid-state materials as a postdoctoral research associate to investigate charge doping of metal-organic frameworks, working within the research group of Dr Matthew Cliffe at the School of Chemistry University of Nottingham (https://cliffe.nottingham.ac.uk) . This position is part of the DISCO-MOF UKRI Frontier Grant (ERC Guarantee) project. 

The post holder is expected to synthesise non-stoichiometric radical metal-organic frameworks and characterise their structures and magnetic properties using bulk property and neutron scattering methods. They are also expected to develop their own individual career including applying for independent funding; neutron and other central facility experiments.

A PhD in Chemistry, (or near to completion of) Materials Science, Physics or related field with demonstrated excellence in the experimental study of inorganic solid-state materials is essential.
