You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What youll do:Oversee daily production of produce according to Sodexo/Costa specificationsEnsure food storage and preparation comply with Sodexo standardsLead the team during key service periods throughout the dayMonitor produce stock levels and ensure product availability at all timesReceive, check, and store deliveries appropriatelyMaintain a safe working environment for staff and guests, promoting a positive safety cultureUphold personal hygiene and uniform standards in line with Sodexo policyDeliver high standards of customer service, engaging guests promptlyAssist with monthly inventory stock takes, capturing internal transfers and revenuesPlace weekly orders to maintain store operationsEnsure accurate till declarations and monitor variances dailyAddress vending issues as they ariseSupport performance and people management needs of staffComplete daily labour management (Kronos) for accurate payrollManage weekly staff rosters to ensure staffing aligns with agreed/contractual opening timesOversee staff holiday entitlementSupport accident and incident reportingDeliver monthly Sodexo Great Training Program, annual appraisals, and competency checksMaintain stock rotation in all store locations to minimize waste and spoilageStay informed on current promotional activity and ensure adequate stock holdingMaintain service level agreements in line with contractual requirementsSupport management in achieving financial KPIs, including sales, GP, and labour targetsUndertake additional duties and projects as requested by management to ensure smooth operations of Subway/Retail.What youll bring:Previous food preparation and service experienceExperience in a fast-paced customer-facing food/retail businessLevel 3 Food Safety (preferable)Good standard of literacy and numeracyExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levelsStrong time management and organisational skillsAbility to work well under pressureAbility to meet performance criteria, especially hygiene and safety standardsPositive attitude towards learning and identifying personal training needsSelf-motivatedAbility to drive sales growth through promotions/initiatives and upsellingAbility to identify improvement areas, seek support, and ensure continuous improvementAbility to lead a team effectively and work as part of the teamWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; its a chance to be part of something greater.
