Lloyd's is dedicated to fostering a "braver world" by enabling progress and mitigating risks. If you're driven by innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to sustainability and inclusivity, you'll find a welcoming environment and a platform to make a significant impact.

Key Advantages for Candidates:

  • Impactful Role: Play a pivotal part in strengthening governance, managing risk, and ensuring compliance across Lloyd's Operations. Your work will directly contribute to the stability and future success of the market.
  • Strategic Influence: Advise and support Operations leadership in developing robust governance processes and risk frameworks. This role provides a direct line of influence on strategic decision-making.
  • Professional Development: Lloyd's is committed to your growth. You'll receive support for achieving relevant professional certifications, access to ongoing training, and opportunities for career advancement.
  • Collaborative Environment: Become part of a team that embodies "stronger together." You'll work with the brightest minds in the industry, fostering a culture of shared intelligence and expertise.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Beyond a competitive salary, Lloyd's offers a robust total rewards package, including a generous pension, healthcare, wellbeing programs, financial support for development, and a flexible benefits allowance to tailor to your needs.
  • Work-Life Balance: Benefit from a hybrid working model, promoting flexibility and a healthy work-life balance, integrated into their overall reward strategy.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Join an organization that prioritizes diversity and inclusion, offering support for workplace adjustments, health and wellbeing programs, and a culture where everyone can achieve their full potential.

Key Considerations for Your Career Path:

  • Risk and Governance Expertise: This role is ideal for individuals with a solid understanding of operational processes, technology/digital governance, risk management, compliance, and audit best practices. Experience with Enterprise Risk Frameworks and supporting senior management governance is highly valued.
  • Technical Acumen: A strong technical understanding of information technology, with depth in at least one domain, is essential. Familiarity with enterprise risk tools (e.g., RSA Archer, Corestream) and data visualization tools (Qlik/Power BI) will be advantageous. Knowledge of frameworks like COBIT 2019 is a plus.
  • Stakeholder Management: Success in this position requires exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various departments and manage relationships with auditors.
  • Industry Knowledge: While not strictly essential, preferable knowledge of Financial Services (particularly insurance) or other regulated industries will provide a significant advantage, allowing for a quicker ramp-up and deeper understanding of the nuances.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: You'll be involved in risk assessment, control testing, and providing updates to governance forums, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adaptability and Continuous Learning: The insurance and reinsurance market is dynamic. A willingness to continuously learn and adapt to evolving risks and regulations is crucial.

If you are a proactive, detail-oriented professional looking to make a meaningful contribution to a respected global institution, this Senior Analyst opportunity at Lloyd's presents an excellent avenue to advance your career in risk and governance.
