The role As a Safe Systems of Work Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The role is within complex shipbuilding, to support Babcock’s current and future ship design and build programmes, including future export variants and other ship building and refit opportunities in the pipeline.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
Provide direction to Safe system of Work Manager, to ensure that the defined programme strategy for Safe Systems of Work enacted to contribute to best-for-programme outcomes. Provide help and direction to less experienced team members to support both their effective working, and their development. Formally capture LfE throughout the programme lifecycle. Provide support for safe systems of work associated with non-ionising radiation, Low Voltage Lock off and Tag Out, Confined Space working and Hot work activities.This role is full time and based onsite at our Rosyth site.
Essential experience of the Safe Systems of Work Supervisor:
Experience in Lock out tag out system, confined space process and Shiphaz.Qualifications for the Safe Systems of Work Supervisor:
HND/HNC level qualification in Electrical engineering discipline with experience in relevant field. Recognised trade background in an Electrical discipline
