Your Role within Centrica Business Solutions

As a Scada Operations Technician within Centrica Business Solutions, you'll play a crucial part in supporting over 7,000 organisations globally. Your focus will be on balancing planet and profit by building, operating, and maintaining large-scale energy assets like Solar PV and Combined Heat and Power (CHP). This is a chance to contribute to significant projects, including the development of a 900MW portfolio of grid-scale solar farms and battery storage assets across the UK.

Key Responsibilities and Daily Impact:

  • Optimise Asset Performance: Monitor energy asset performance to ensure maximum efficiency and meet contractual obligations, a critical function for both the company and its diverse client base.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert: Develop deep knowledge in at least one core asset type (CHP, Heat Pumps), positioning you as a go-to resource and fostering specialized career growth.
