About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen within our technical team for a science technician. Working on our St. Peter's Campus, you will provide lab based technical support to both primary and secondary education teaching. The role is part-time and term-time, which equates to 4 days per week, 33 weeks offering that work-life balance flexibility.

As science technician, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting science related subjects in primary and secondary education teaching within the Faculty of Education, Society and Creative Industries, supporting all practical aspects of laboratory operations to students and staff. 

What you can bring 

You will possess A levels in a related subject or relevant laboratory experience. You will have experience of laboratory processes and techniques and experience of operating laboratory equipment, with a knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation. You will have the ability to carry out risk assessments including COSHH.
