Job Description Secretary/Personal Assistant Part time (28hr/week) Derby What you will be doing: We have an opportunity for a Secretary Personal Assistant who will provide and secretarial and administrative support to the Director â Commercial Aviation Trent XWB and Director â Portfolio Planning Civil. Responsibilities: In this role, you will manage demanding and complex schedules for both Senior Civil Leaders and be able to re-prioritise & multi-task on a daily basis, as well as: Applying a detailed knowledge of the Company travel policy and be able to coordinate complex travel arrangements, dealing with any changes which may be required at short notice and managing/processing of expenses. Support with co-ordinating and managing standard meeting governance and quarterly events. Managing the inbox and being able to use judgement to reply to emails and make tentative arrangements/suggestions to requests. Communicating and exchanging sensitive information on a regular basis, often handling difficult and sensitive information. Acting as a first point of contact for the manager for internal and external queries - often from Senior Executives. Liaising with R-R approved agencies and agencies outside of the Company. Ability to operate calmly under pressure and establish own work priorities to deliver against deadlines. Excellent organisation & planning skills. Ability to exercise judgement and act on own initiative. Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organisation. Be able to develop professional relationships with key stakeholders outside of the scope of the department and the business. Excellent attention to detail, produce accurate work in a timely manner and have good problem-solving skills. Demonstrate good knowledge of R-R as a Global company and how it functions. High degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrates the Company Behaviours expected for this level.
