The Securities Advisory Specialist is a role focusing on equity and fixed income advisory and trading. This requires proficient knowledge and trading experience across these two asset classes. The successful candidate will also contribute to the improvement of workflow processes for equity, fixed income, and derivative execution. The role requires good analytical skills to prioritize and synthesise complex trading instructions from multiple products. Strong communication, ability to multitask, working to time constraints and people skills are also desirable requirements.

Responsibilities:

This role is based within the Markets team, which is a subset of Citi Global Wealth Investments, covering EMEA clientsacross equity & fixed income cash, listed derivatives, and OTC products (structured notes, swaps accumulators, OTC options).Focus on execution management for external clients and internal stakeholders. External client types include UHNW, SFO and MFO whilst internal stakeholders will primarily be relationship managers and investment counsellors.Part of the integrated client team including the relationship manager and investment counsellor, delivering ideas and investment strategy recommendations as well as providing the highest level of strategic and tactical advice.Maintain rigorous risk management approach with clients on their exposures in line with client risk/return objectives.Responsible for increasing external/internal sales across equity and fixed income product sets.Communicate/deliver/close on client investment proposals and new account pitches as part of the overall client teamEnsure conformity with global Firm standards of client service, regulatory, compliance, and operating modelIncrease connectivity and engagement between Markets and Citi Private Bank clients and employees / Actively participate in daily morning meetings and marketing team sales callsAssist with the roll-out and development of the projects needed to expand and improve efficiency on the platformCoverage of US trading hours 2-3 times per week to ensure the continuity of the Securities Advisory offering to our clients across products, time zones all from one touch point.

Skills / Experience:

A good track record of experience in financial markets.Passion for financial marketswith trading experienceTrading experience across Equity and Fixed Income products. Vanilla through to OTC (preferable)Experience with Bloomberg and familiarisation with different trading algorithmsStrong communication skills and ​meticulous attention to detailAbility to multitask within various time constraints
