Key Responsibilities and What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage the day-to-day operational security activities for Defence Aerospace programmes, including the administration of security clearances.
  • Champion, define, and implement best-practice security processes, techniques, and tools in line with expert guidance.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of security standards and compliance, notably with GovS 007 Security policy.
  • Maintain and update operational security procedures, plans, documents, and risk registers for the Defence EMEA team, encompassing all satellite locations.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, operating under the guidance of the Security management team.
  • Uphold and monitor security controls, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of current and future changes in government and company guidance or legislation impacting local operating procedures.

What We're Looking For in a Candidate:

  • Proven administration experience with a track record of proactive and accurate record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels and navigate diverse stakeholder perspectives.
  • A strong analytical ability to assemble, manage, and interpret data to support security objectives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Essential: The ability to hold a minimum Security Check (SC) clearance without caveats.
  • Desirable: Experience in handling Government classified assets and a willingness to progress to Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
  • Requirement: Must hold UK nationality due to the nature of the business and assets protected.
