Title – Security OfficerLocation – Glasgow, G51 4SASalary – £13.10 per hourHours – 42 hours per weekShifts – 4 on, 4 off – days and nights (12-hour shifts)As a Security Officer at Sodexo in Glasgow, youll be a calm, reassuring presence and a key part of creating a safe and secure environment for everyone on site. You'll be working from the main gatehouse, helping protect people, property, and operations through vigilance, professionalism, and great communication.You'll be the face of safety and support – whether thats managing site access, responding to incidents, or helping visitors feel welcome.Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What youll do:• Manage site access and welcome all personnel and visitors in a professional and friendly manner• Conduct regular security patrols and respond quickly to any incidents• Maintain accurate logs and reports – from visitor check-ins to incident records• Operate CCTV and security systems where required• Support emergency procedures and liaise with emergency services as neededWhat you bring:• Prior experience in a similar Security role• Valid SIA licence• Full UK Driving Licence (essential for the sites access requirements)• Ability to stay calm under pressure and think clearly in challenging situations• Strong communication skills and a professional approachWhat We OfferWorking with our company is more than a job; its a chance to be part of something greater.
