Role Purpose A versatile and creative food content writer, skilled in crafting engaging content across multiple communication channels, including magazines, newspapers, social media, email, and web (SEO). This role requires an agile writer who can adapt tone, style, and approach to suit different formats and platforms, producing high-quality content that resonates with passionate food lovers. Key Responsibilities Produce compelling short and long form content across our content ecosystem, including features, news stories, promo copy and social, ensuring alignment with house style and TOV guidelines. Write SEO-optimised content for recipe collection pages, individual recipe pages, and food guides, ensuring alignment with search intent and improving organic search visibility. Write clear, engaging scripts for video content that align with the brand messaging and tone. Write advertorials and commercial content that align with brand objectives while maintaining editorial integrity. Collaborate with Leads to ensure content fits within broader strategies and objectives. Ensure all written content is clear, accurate, and meticulously crafted—upholding the highest editorial standards and reflecting our premium quality. Devise inspiring concepts and themes for content, ensuring they’re fresh and relevant to passionate food lovers. Qualifications & Skills At least 3-5 years of experience in writing and content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing work across print, digital, and social Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling editorial content, advertorials, web copy, and promotional materials while maintaining brand voice and tone A deep understanding of SEO principles, with the ability to optimise e-commerce pages for organic search visibility Experience with web content management systems and basic HTML/CSS Ability to use AI tools creatively and strategically, freeing up time for greater creativity and innovation Experience in writing food-focused content, including food trends and food culture Strong organisational skills and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all written content Strong communication and collaboration skills Working with us Joining Dentsu Creative, you will be part of a creative network, delivering ideas at the intersection of brand, culture, and commerce.
