The Role: Senior Designer- 12 Month Fixed Term

Join our creative powerhouse at British Airways as a Senior Designer within our Creative Studio. You will play a pivotal role in executing innovative, high-quality, on-brand creative design across multiple channels, enhancing the customer experience. Your work will champion the visualisation of our global brand identity, bringing engaging design to life through key business-critical projects.

What You’ll Do:

Collaborate closely with the Design Lead on assigned design projects from concept to completion, aligning with internal briefs from across British Airways. Influence the design and application of branded assets, ensuring they meet consumer and commercial needs while maintaining brand consistency. Deputise for the Design Lead when necessary, offering creative consultation and support. Engage with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver designs tailored for various channels and touchpoints. Develop and present high-quality design concepts, mood boards, and prototypes that align with BA's brand guidelines. Produce compelling digital and print designs, including layouts, typography, illustrations, and branding elements. Champion continuous improvement through performance analysis of design strategies and assets. Maintain strong working relationships with external suppliers and creative specialists, fostering innovation and creativity. Stay at the forefront of digital design advancements to ensure cutting-edge deliverables.

What You’ll Bring to British Airways:

A proactive, flexible, and agile mindset, ready to adapt when challenges arise. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to clearly present and communicate ideas. A passion for creative ideation and the ability to align design within brand parameters. Commercial awareness and sound judgement, with the ability to balance customer and commercial needs. Experience leading creative development and mentoring teams within a high-performing environment.

Your Experience:

Proven experience delivering outstanding design within integrated marketing campaigns. A portfolio showcasing conceptual work and high-quality branded assets. Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. Leadership experience within a creative setting, including agency management and stakeholder collaboration.
