The Senior Manager Stores Operating Model will be responsible for a set area of the Stores Operating Mode, developing and embedding a Continuous Improvement culture. You’ll be the custodian of all store processes and change in this area, focusing on critical topics that support our Stores Plan, Retail Fundamentals and Business Priorities. Key to role will be keeping a clear focus on improving colleague and product availability, growing sales both in store and through our omni propositions as well as reducing our store operating costs.

Role overview:

Key Role Responsibilities:

Responsible for improving the end-to-end processes within the Stores Owner of the documented operational processes in the Retail Process guides Deliver improvement projects and initiatives that significantly improve the customer experience, colleague experience and reduce costs Ensure the simplest method of operation is implemented in stores, which is easily understood by store colleagues Lead cross-functional teams across retained and outsourced to successfully deliver changes Guide and assist direct reports to improve their performance and improve enablement and engagement scores ensuring any risks, issues and concerns are addressed Evaluate data and findings, with data led decisions through analysis and pilot recommendations Presentation and understanding of benefits tracking and realisation of all initiatives

Key Skills, & Experience

Experience in continuous improvement and efficiency benefits realisation Understanding of retail store processes and operating models Process improvement; Lean Six Sigma and Agile from initial shaping through to embedding improvements Experience of operating in a project / change environment Can independently structure and analyse data, interpreting results to provide recommendations for improvement Leadership of teams to achieve project and initiative deliverables and outcomes Ability to consult, influence, and partner with business leaders at all levels, whether retained or outsourced Experience handling large data sets and presenting data in a simple way Experience with supplier management and supplier negotiations Procurement/GNFR experience
