We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated server side application developer to play a key role on a greenfield multiyear transformation program aimed at modernizing and scaling the electronic FX Options Trading Business
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and development of the electronic FX Options Trading Platform specializing in:RFQ (Request for Quote) client or sales to trader workflowStreaming pricesTrade booking and lifecycle managementVolatility Surface and other market data managementStructured Product Pricing workbenchCollaborate with a global team of server side and front end developers, quants and traders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutionsDrive the design and development of system architecture, work with users of the system to enhance the quality and functionality of deliverablesContribute to the continuous improvement of development, deployment and testing processesShare your knowledge and mentor other developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environmentRequired Skills:
Advanced knowledge and experience of C# development in an event-driven architecture. Equivalent experience using Java would also be consideredProficient in multithreading, concurrency and performance tuningSolid understanding of inter-application communication using REST, WebSocket or middleware like Solace/Kafka/TibcoProficiency in CI/CD, application resiliency, testing, profiling, and telemetryAwareness of industry trends and leveraging new technologies as appropriateExperience working in Linux environmentsNice to have:
Java or Python experienceKubernetes and working with containersExperience working in finance is a plus, but not requiredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.
