Senior Internal Communications Manager- Transformation 12-month Fixed-term Contract Location: London based (50% hybrid working) Hours: full time (flexible options available) Salary: circa £85,000 Are you a seasoned communications professional who brings clarity and creativity to complex business changes, and is comfortable working with senior level stakeholders? We’re looking for an experienced internal communications manager with a strong track record in large-scale transformation programmes. If you’re confident advising senior leaders, skilled in change communications, and full of ideas you know how to deliver them, while bringing energy, creativity, and collaboration to every interaction—we’d love to meet you. A bit about the job: As the Senior Internal Communications Manager for Transformation, you will lead the development and implementation of communication strategies that support our transformation activity across our UK General Insurance business. Your focus will be on communicating brilliantly with all colleagues to bring teams along on this exciting journey. Working closely with ExCo, Programme Teams, CEO Office team and People Function, you will make sure that communications address the people impacts of change with care and thoughtfulness. Key responsibilities of the role will include: Transformation strategy: developing and owning the transformation narrative aligned to the UKGI strategy and working closely with key stakeholders and various transformation programme teams to deliver it. You’ll be the Internal Communications lead for our ‘big bet’ transformation priorities, providing guidance on how and when to communicate more widely across Aviva. Change communications: crafting and delivering clear, concise, and timely communications to help colleagues understand the reasons for change and its benefits. People impact/change communications: provide clear communications to help colleagues understand any changes to either their roles and/or their teams. Stakeholder management: building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders. Providing coaching and communications counsel as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert. Content creation: Creating engaging and informative content across various channels, leading multi-faceted programmes of work simultaneously. Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and provide regular reporting as part of the integration governance process. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Have a wealth of experience in internal communications, having previously managed IC for large-scale business transformation/integration programmes Previous experience delivering successful business integration programmes; engagement campaigns, overseeing a best-in class channel mix, including digital channels Have exceptional interpersonal skills and be a collaborative team player with humility and consistently brings energy, positivity and a welcoming presence to every setting. Direct experience of, and comfort working into senior leadership.
