As well as competitive pay rates, you will be entitled to a range of benefits including discount vouchers for restaurants, cinemas, retail outlets, healthcare and much more as well as pension, enhanced family leave, childcare discounts, employee assistance programme and much more!  </font></p><p><font face="arial" size="2"><strong>About the role: </strong> </font></p><p><font face="arial" size="2">This leadership role will see you being responsible for the effective management of the site through the leadership, motivation, and development of the team so that the site runs in accordance with the operational core values and principles of the company. </font></p><p><font face="arial" size="2">Participate in development and ensure implementation of warehouse and ground operations strategy to provide smooth operations for movement and storage and to meet cost, quality, customer, and market-specific requirements in line with the business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines, and policies. </font></p><p><font face="arial" size="2"><strong>Key Role Responsibilities:</strong>  </font></p><ul><li><font face="arial" size="2">Contribute to define warehouse and manual handling strategy in line with business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Ensure development and implementation of warehouse and manual handling plans, budgets and measures </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Ensure implementation of safety/ security to ensure goods equipment are safely operated, and properly maintained and stored </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Monitoring site and people performance, including performance management processes </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Providing of the financial forecasting for the site </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Responsible for the monthly payroll report to ensure correct salary payments are made and notifying of any anomalies </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Review existing operation performance, data, and facilities to identify effective distribution and transportation patterns for products </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Examine effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization and protection of equipment, and make recommendations for improvements </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Study issues, determine opportunities and introduce best practices for warehouse and manual handling methods and techniques focusing on promoting efficiency, faster service, and lower costs </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Develop strong, trusting relationships with business leaders across DHL </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Manage experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments </font></li></ul><p><font face="arial" size="2"><strong>The ideal candidate will have:</strong> </font></p><p><font face="arial" size="2">We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and leadership skills who will be able to motivate and develop the site and build on its position within our network.  Ideally the successful applicant will hold their CPC qualification in transport and logistics and be able to provide evidence of: </font></p><ul><li><font face="arial" size="2">Previous managerial experience within a warehouse environment </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Experience in the Parcel industry an advantage </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Previous experience of budgetary control </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Excellent leadership skills </font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment</font></li></ul><p><font face="arial" size="2"><strong>What about career development?    </strong> </font></p><p><font face="arial" size="2">We take every employees career seriously and believe in realising their full potential.
