The Role The Social Video Creator will help create content and grow audiences across social channels, including Instagram and TikTok. This role will produce, capture and edit content for global CNT social channels in collaboration with editorial and social teams to build out a library of social originals and cutdowns. An ideal candidate is “chronically online”—and will understand how to use social media to develop, engage, and inform audiences across platforms, be aware of emerging channels, ahead of social media trends, and use critical thinking to determine how CNT can partake in them effectively. Candidates must have a keen eye for social visuals, experience with creating short form video content both on-the-fly and in longer-lead projects. Experience in content execution from nuts to bolts and a proven ability to communicate effectively and meet deadlines is a must. What will you be doing? Produce, shoot, and edit short form social video content both in the studio and on location, and acquired assets from Traveller editors/contributors Develop, pitch and produce original, social-first series and stories for TikTok, Reels, and other social platforms Edit an existing library of longform video IP to produce short form videos optimized for a social audience Actively participate in brainstorms for content Assist in content calendar planning, logistics, expenses About you: Experience in a social-media or digital-production role with a focus on content creation Previous professional TikTok experience and is obsessed with the platform Proficiency with Premiere and other Adobe editing tools Motion graphics and/or illustration experience a plus Experience in travel content a plus, but not essential Deep understanding of the social media landscape A willingness to experiment with best practices to find new and more effective tools for audience discovery and engagement Ability to manage multiple projects at once Diligent attention to detail, experience in project management Does this sound like you?
