Job Description What you will be doing An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solution Architect â SIOP, to join the Solution Architecture team, within the Civil Digital function within Rolls-Royce, based in Derby. As a Solution Architect â SIOP, you will apply your broad experience of Demand & Supply Planning and adjacent processes to propose solutions and transitional steps that will drive the Rolls-Royce Sales, Inventory & Operation Planning operating system towards being a secure, best in class solution. You will be providing consultancy to the Demand Forecasting and Supply Chain community on ways to leverage Rolls-Royce strategically aligned technology so they can deliver the next generation of business planning capability while realizing benefit through optimisation. Responsibilities You will: Interpret business requirements to enable and own the design of integrated solutions in accordance with the enterprise roadmap. Lead the design of architecture within the Solution Delivery Team for integrated solutions in line with appropriate standards. Provide leadership and direction on technical aspects of systems development and integration in line with technical strategies, standards etc. In Solution designs focus on User Experience and Automation. Share ownership for supporting and monitoring the Solutions. Create and manage relationships with Vendor SA's / EA's. Demonstrable S&OP business & technical experience Experience in managing Architecture Roadmaps for S&OP solutions. Experience of enabling cultural change Experience of data governance within the S&OP domain Experience of leading and working in a global business environment and managing distributed teams. Good technology understanding with respect to the domain and adjacent solutions such as Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Collaboration. Advise on the available standards, methods, tools, and applications relevant to the domain. Absorbs technical information and communicates effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences. Actively seeks to understand the implications of new technologies and industry developments, communicating the opportunity and impact to the team. Good understanding of on-prem and cloud technologies. Experience of working in an agile methodology to deliver rapid value to the business.
