Job Description

As a Solution Architect, youll be at the heart of shaping how technology supports our business goals. Youll work across a wide range of applications, translating complex business needs into clear, effective technical solutions. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys solving complex problems, and is excited by the opportunity to influence the future of technology at Carnival UK. Youll collaborate with stakeholders across the business and technology teams, ensuring our solutions are not only fit for purpose but also aligned with our long-term strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities

Define and document solution architectures that align with business requirements, IT strategy, and existing systems. Lead technical workstreams, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure robust, end-to-end solutions. Provide architectural leadership across a range of applications, systems and stakeholders Evaluate and recommend technologies that support our evolving system platforms. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and governance processes.

 

Position Requirements

Our ideal candidates are those who possess not only the technical skills required for the role but also a passion for technology and a keen eye for detail. 

Breadth of experience in solution design and architecture, ideally gained across diverse organisations—demonstrating adaptability to varying methodologies, cultures, and ways of working Expertise in defining and documenting technology solutions and re-usable solution design patterns  A solid understanding of application, infrastructure, integration and data architecture. Proven ability to collaborate across large teams and influence stakeholders
