Our success is built on the strength of our people and with a vast network of care homes and a diverse range of support functions, we're on a mission to find exceptional talent to join us on our journey.</p> <p><strong>The role:</strong> To support a portfolio of up to 45 homes in the South division, supporting person-centred dementia care focussing on the person not the disease</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>To directly work with the LQDM’s and regulatory teams in the development of dementia services and the overall delivery of high-quality care services as recognised through external regulation ratings</li> <li>To support homes using the dementia Go Audit annually to plan development of their dementia services.</li> <li>To have a working knowledge of relevant legislation within social and health care settings and be able to support the management teams within our homes implementing and sustaining best practice</li> <li>To provide training and quarterly support for dementia care coaches and lifestyle leads across their portfolio of homes.</li> <li>Deliver sustained improvements in quality of dementia care as reflected through improved Regulator ratings and sector leading dementia care.</li> <li>To support the implementation of namaste care in all Care UK homes including training Namaste practitioners</li> <li>To support the implementation and continued use of Relish and accurate recording of lifestyle activities</li> <li>To ensure best practise is embedded through monitoring compliance of a range of care & clinical relating to dementia and lifestyles KPIs</li> <li>To have a working knowledge of legislation within social and health care settings and be able to support the management teams within our homes implementing and sustaining best practice</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Educated to degree level or equivalent in dementia care </li> <li>Extensive experience supporting people with dementia</li> <li>Demonstrable knowledge of coaching/mentoring colleagues</li> <li>Able to travel to and from our homes regularly</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join Care UK?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be part of a dynamic and growing organisation dedicated to providing outstanding care.</li> <li>Collaborate with a diverse and talented team in a supportive and inclusive environment.</li> <li>Enjoy a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.</li> <li>Make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents and contribute to the success of our care homes.</li> </ul> <p>We are committed to recruiting diverse, talented people, who share our passion for helping others.
