Sr. Global Medical Affairs Leader - Prostate Cancer

We are seeking a Senior Global Medical Affairs Leader (GMAL), Prostate cancer, to join us at our dynamic site in Cambridge, UK! The Senior GMAL will report to the Head of Genitourinary (GU) cancers and will play a pivotal role in leading the Global Medical Affairs strategy and execution for a key asset within the therapeutic area. The Sr GMAL will work cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Commercial, and other stakeholder teams to maximize patient benefit and deliver scientific leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the global medical affairs strategy for assigned assets in prostate cancer

Lead the planning and implementation of evidence generation activities, including real-world evidence and medical affairs studies

Provide medical leadership in the development of scientific communication and publication strategy

Represent medical affairs on cross-functional teams, including the Global Product Team (GPT), ensuring alignment with the overall asset strategy

Collaborate with regional and local medical teams to support the implementation of local plans and to ensure consistency with the global strategy

Serve as the global expert for assigned assets, interfacing with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and scientific experts

Contribute to the development and delivery of materials and training for internal stakeholders

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of Master degree in a scientific field or equivalent medical/scientific qualifications

At least 5 years of senior/specialized experience within pharma/life sciences and/or medical experience (e.g. significant clinical/academic/medical affairs roles/organizations)

Experience and ability to lead and provide strategic leadership across functional working groups and teams within a complex matrix organization

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD)

Oncology medical experience

Expertise in product launches and/or mature brand development

Cross Asset/Tumor Medical Strategy experience is advantageous and highly desirable

Desired Skills and Experience:

Experience with evidence generation and market-shaping activities

Proven ability to work in a complex, matrix environment.

Strong scientific acumen and the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
