As a Strategic Workforce Planning Specialist, youâll help design and embed a future-fit workforce strategy across the business. Working at the intersection of data, strategy, and people, this role partners with senior stakeholders and the Heads of People to bring workforce planning to life. You'll deliver analytical models and insight-led solutions, helping shape the âAviva of the futureâ through practical, data-driven planning. Sitting within our People Function, but closely aligned to solving real business problems, this is an exciting opportunity to operate as part of a consulting-style team working at pace with impact. What youâll be doing day to day: Leading project-based workforce planning initiatives with tight deadlines and strategic impact. Embedding strategic workforce planning tools and models across the business. Translating complex business challenges into tangible workforce solutions through collaboration with People Analytics. Supporting business units in defining their workforce âblueprintsâ using both internal data and external market trends. Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and facilitating change and adoption of workforce planning practices. Skills and experience weâre looking for: Proven strategic thinking with experience in linking organisational goals to workforce planning. Strong analytical skills â comfortable interpreting large datasets and using data modelling to shape decisions. Experience in workforce strategy, not just operational or capacity planning. Senior stakeholder management â including consulting or partnering in highly matrixed or complex environments. Strong problem-solving and adaptability, with a consulting toolkit or mindset.
