As a Strategy & Projects Manager here you will examine and study the external supply chain environment to identify future industry movements and predictions based on current and future trends. Specifically, you will be responsible for the investigation and development of future aftermarket parts logistics strategy ahead of decision to implement major projects key to the ongoing transformation of the global parts warehouse network.

Lead the strategy creation for JLR Aftermarket Supply Chain network strategy in major markets Employ a methodical approach to problem solving, using fact and data at the heart Form cross enterprise relationships and form a strategic working group Develop strong external networks whereby anticipated emerging trends and industry movements are addressed Systematically explore and examine external environments to identify future predictions and advise the business on the impact of these Examine, analyse and monitor the current and future industry movements / developments to identify key trends likely to impact the future of aftermarket parts and other supply chains and advise the business on how best to position itself in the market Prepare and present current and future trends and forecasting to support strategy briefing events

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

Experience in a similar supply chain including strategy development and analysis of industry best practice analysis Proven ability to analyse and create robust options and vision propositions Proficient communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with strong networking skills Proven experience in distilling complex topics into easily understandable narratives for an audience that may not be experienced in the subject matter Project Management / Supply Chain experience delivering key supply chain implementations (Such as Agile methodologies, Prince 2 or equivalent)
