About the Role
We are seeking a Student Recruitment Events Officer who will play a vital role in planning and delivering impactful recruitment events such as Open Days, Offer Holder Days, and other high-profile student-facing activities. You’ll be part of a vibrant team focused on engaging future students with memorable, tailored, and inclusive event experiences that reflect the UEL brand.
You will collaborate closely with academic schools, support services, and the wider External Relations team to design and execute experiences that resonate with our audiences — from prospective students to their influencers. Your creativity and attention to detail will be crucial in turning ideas into seamless, high-impact events.
Key Responsibilities
Lead on the delivery of flagship recruitment events including Open Days and Offer Holder Days.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure events meet strategic recruitment objectives.Innovate with content, experiences, and communications to create engaging, audience-focused events.Manage student ambassador teams, ensuring effective training, coordination, and representation during events.Oversee event logistics, supplier coordination, facilities liaison, and budget tracking.Use CRM systems to track engagement, manage event communications, and analyse outcomes.Monitor and evaluate event performance, gather feedback, and continuously enhance effectiveness.Ensure compliance with health & safety, data protection, and equality, diversity, and inclusion standards.About You
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and bursting with creative ideas. You’ll be confident managing multiple projects simultaneously, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders to bring events to life.
You’ll also bring:
Experience in events planning, preferably in a marketing, education or student recruitment context.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage budgets and logistics.Familiarity with digital platforms, CRM systems, and online engagement tools.A commitment to inclusive practice and audience-focused delivery.
